Some of the Games which we can play in office parties
Salsa Dance
This is very nice game; it can be played with 1 player or with a team. But with a 3-5 person team, it will be played well.
Mark a Big Circle for a 3-5 person team (For 1-2 person, make a moderate circle) On Floor by chalk.
Hook or Tie a small water Mug on the waist of all the guys who are inside the circle by using a Rope.
Firm the Mug around the Waist, as it should not get out easily, and will be on waist and in straight position.
Give tennis ball to all the guys in those circles and ask them to Hit the Tennis Ball on Ground and bounce the ball high and then Catch these Balls in there MUGS Without the Support of hands and others
This seems to be A Salsa Type Dance, game.
Make a time Limit of 2 mins and count the ball getting into mugs by each team member.
The Team which Captures More Balls will be awarded J
Air Balloon
This is very small game to play and the easiest one, which can be played by any one of any age.
Make a team of 2-3 guys, ask team members to make as much balloons as possible. Keep the time limit of 1 min.
Balloon blast
This Game is similar to the previous, but with a twist. In this game there are teams of about 4-5 members. They are given lots of lots of deflated Balloons and Some thread.
2-3 members of that team are there to inflate balloons as much as they can. And the remaining member of team have to sit on floor and blast the balloons with their A$ J J J hahahaha.
Count the Number of balloons Blasted by A$$ and not they blasted not air puncture from mouth.
The team with max number of blasted Balloons wins!!!!
Blind figures
This Game is somewhat boring. But is a good change. Make a team of 4-10 members as u wish.
Take a rope of about 50-100 feet long (according to team size). Tie the ends of the rope at edges and make a Circle. Ask team to enter in that Circle. Blind fold all team members, by having their eyes completely hidden by cloth or handkerchief. (Ensure they are not able to see…. No cheating…)
Now give the rope in their hand and ask them to make any shapes from rope by team like square, triangle, pentagon, or any shape.
Team making Clear figure wins.
To make this difficult , increase the length of rope longer so that each team member are spread away from each other and communicate by voice and get the position by Voice.
Dance mania.
Awesome game….
Make multiple Teams of not more than 5 members. For every team give a piece of cloth. Usually use Small or medium size Carpet or any type of cloth of size 100 X 100 Cm aprox. Ask all team Member to remove shoes and socks and place ur both feet on the cloth. Play some Dance music/ Hip hop in background for about a Min and so and ask all team member to dance (shake ur A$$, move you Body).
But twist is that none of the team member’s feet must come outside of the carpet or cloth on which they are dancing. Else the whole team is disqualified and out of round. For that keep 1 person for every 1-2 or 3 teams, as possible, and check if any one dancing team member’s feet not get out of Carpet/Cloth.
After a Min or so, stop Music and ask each team to make One Half cut fold of that carpet/Cloth. For 1-2 teams keep one monitoring person if possible to reduce cheats.
After half folding, Ask all team member to come inside and be close and dance for a Min with background music.
After 1 min or so again ask all team to fold and verify the fold with monitoring person. Again ask all team members to come close and hold each other and dance with music and keep in mind nobody put feet outside. Otherwise that team is disqualified.
After 1 min or so again, fold the carpet/ cloth in a half and verified by monitoring person. Ask all team members to dance on that cloth.
After some time all team member are tightly holded by each other, with their one foot on cloth and one suspended in air.
In one of game finally a team of 2 guys win, as one guy lifted his girl on this hand and danced and won. And in other game 3 guys wins as they hold one gal in both of there hands and dancing J and won the game.
To win this game team must have a girl (light weighted, slim is a plus) ;-)
Then all are on their knees and so and last team which keeps the pace wins.
Bucket Brigade
Make multiple teams of 5-10 members. Each team has 2 water bottles with them, one is full of water and other one is completely dry. Each member is given with a Plastic Cup (hard paper cup can do).
Queue all the members of the team in front to back, row sitting way on the floor. Likewise queue all the teams paralleled to each other.
The person in front will hold the full water bottle and the last person on the team will have the empty water bottle.
On go, the first person in line will pour water into his own cup and then without turning back (not also moving his neck backwards or side wards) pour his cup of water into the cup of the player behind him.
(He/she can do pour water from 1 cup to next cup, over the arm or sideways)
Each player will pour his cup of water into the cup of the next player. The last player will then pour his cup of water into the water bottle.
Note this monitoring people should be placed here to check that members of team, not cheat by looking back
Finally the last player will then pour his cup of water into the water bottle.
As soon as the first player passes his water he can refill the cup and start passing again.
They will continue until all the water is out of the first bottle.
Tell the last player to come in front, as soon as, his team is finish with water transfer.
Stop all team as soon as any of team finishes water transfer (Optional rule)
The team with the most water in the bottle at the back of the line is the winner.
Choco Whistle
This is special games for kids but can be played anywhere.
Make 2-4 teams, each of 3-5 members. Keep a table at some 10- 15 ft away from a line made by chalk on floor. Ask the team to be beside the line, away from the table. Keep some chocolates on table (big size chocolate big fun, and no chewing gums).
On the go, first player of each team run to the table and put 3 chocolates in his mouth simultaneously and then chew it, chew is as fast as possible and then attempt to whistle. (Keep 4 chocolates in a mouth to be more fun, in case of small kids make 2 chocolates in mouth)
Once a player has whistled they run back to their team and tag the next player.
Next player will also do the same until everyone has completed the task.
The team which does this task quickly with their entire members will win
Note : Make sure you have cups of water nearby just in case someone needs a drink.
Knot Race
Make 2-4 teams, each of 3-5 members (members can be increased). Get a rope for each team of about 1-2 mtrs or 6- 7 feet long. Tie as many knots as there are player in each team.
Give the rope to each team and ask them to hold till game start.
On go, the first person in the team is to untie a knot, then hand the rope to the next person and repeat.
Keep a Note that only one person will open the Knot at a time, no other person touches it.
If one knot is not able to open, member can choose other knot to open, but 1 person can open only one knot.
If a Person is not able to open knot till some time, he can pass it to other …..
Make a Time Limit of 5- 10min (according to Number of members)
Some twist: You could even have them use only one hand to untie the knots which means they would have to use their teeth.
Please use a clean rope.
Coin in the wheat Flour.
Place many 1 rupee coins in a plate filled with Wheat flour. People should bend and they should tie their hands behind and with the help of their mouth thy have to pick the coins. Person with most number of coins will win the game.
Strikethrough
Place Paper cups in a triangle fashion. And allow each person to destroy the triangle with a ball. Team will be given 3 chances to do the same.
StrawGame
One person from team first should suck the thermo balls from 1st cup and put it in 2nd cup. Next team member should suck the thermo balls from 2nd cup and put it in 3rd cup. Team with Highest no of thermo balls in 3rd cup will win the game.
Saree tying in a minute.
This is actually the Game for seniors (especially married couple in India)
Make 5-6 teams or more. Each team has one Boy (men) or one gal (Women) only. Give all team with one saree.
Ask the girl player to wear saree to his Male partner.
The male partner should not help her (optional)
Then if u have a stage, as the teams to Walk on ramp and have a small fashion show.. (This is really awesome)
The person with less time and with good saree wearied will win.
Some twist: If u have less time, then Make a Time limit of 1-2 min to war saree
Musical chair
This game is very very common and is one of the best and it is favorite indoor game in India. Note it takes a big space to play.
Keep 5-10 chairs in a straight line in a ground, in such a way that the alternative chairs are in opposite direction to each other. This means, if 1st chair is facing front, alternate or next chair faces back and so on till last chair, but all must be in line.
It is importation that number of chairs must be 1 less then number of Players. Ex: if there are 10 Chairs, then there must be 11 players, if you have fewer players like 6 then number of chairs will be 5.
Keep 2 Chairs at 2 ends with some monitoring person sitting on them, with their chairs facing inner side.On this Chair only monitoring person will sit , no player will sit on these chairs in game
Play the music in background and ask the players to walk normally along the chairs clockwise or anticlockwise as you wish.
This is mandate that all player must move in round, circling the vacant chairs and the monitoring person at 2 end /edges.
After a min or so stop the music, then player will run in forward direction to find the nearest chair, facing in their direction to sit on it.
At the End one Player, do not get a sit and he is out of Game. J
Note: All players must walk neither normally nether fast nor Slow (optional)
After 1st round, start the music and reduce one chair from the line. Then again stop music and one man is out.
It is very important that the chairs of Monitoring person is not moved from its place , even if middle vacant chairs are remove one by one each round , so that players have to walk all the way round circling the chairs and monitoring persons.
This round goes till 2 people and 1 chair remains and the last person on the chair wins the game.
After this next group of Players (5-10 players) can start with this game and so on…….
Memory game
This is a fantastic memory game which can be played with your friend anywhere.
Make a team of 10- 15 members. Min is 10 members to have fun.
1st person says a random word , then 2nd person says 1st person’s word and his own random word, then next person says 1st and 2nd person’s words and add his own random words, this continues till the end.
After 1 round (1 – 10the player), 1st palyer says the word of each player and adds his new random word and forward to next player.
Any person has 3 life-lines, means 3 times if he forgets any words or its sequence also, other can help.
But after 3 chances he is out.
Example:
Round 1:
1st person: orange
2nd person: Orange, Sun
3rd person: Orange, sun, Chocolates
……..
10th person: Orange, sun, Chocolates …….. India.
Round 2
1st person: Orange, sun, Chocolates …….. India, Headphone
2nd person: Orange, sun, Chocolates …….. India, Headphone, Fire
Show what u can do
Make a team of 5-6 members. Can have 2-3 teams. One of the members must be a senior, who will guide them. Give some items to all the teams like some old news paper, fancy ribbons, scissors, cutters, glue, Cello tapes, Color full papers, paints, sketch pens etc.
Ask the team to make full use of these resources they got, and Make dress of it and wear it to the senior person in their team.
They must have some theme of what dress they are making them to wear, like warrior, Tree, Aero plane, birds. Anything which comes in their mind, any wild thing, Even promote them to make it look funnier.
They are given 15- 20 mins to Think and start making dress and wear to their player. After time limit stop every one.
Ask each and every team (one person) , about what is their theme to dress there team member. What they think to make. What dress they made? (If possible why they make that dress?)
Some twist: Ask the team about why they made them look funnier (like mustache on Nose : p, hair on cheek etc)
The team with proper dress or proper explanation or impressive explanation wins .
Straw Hair
Make 4-5 teams or more with a Girl and a Guy each. Take some straws and give to all teams (guys). The gal in the team will be sitting on the chair and the gal standing on his Back. Guy will Take the straw and insert in her hair as many as possible. The girl looks Like Chinese girl J
The team with having max number of straw in hair wins
Straw Magic
This game is very simple. Insert straw in another straw… continues… highest no of straws will win the game
Bucket game
Keep a bucket at a far distance. And we have to make people to throw balls into the bucket.
Word game
Talk for 40 to 50 seconds without word “I” or any such words
Name is Game
In a group of people around 15 people, ask them to read A, B, C, D … if their name starts with d same letter what they say the person is out.
